Warsaw, IN, March 11, 2014 – Early results of the limited commercial release of the Re+Line™ Bunion Correction System continue to be favorable as Nextremity Solutions® prepares to exhibit the product at the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons in New Orleans this week.
Stuart D. Katchis, M.D., Section Chief of Foot and Ankle Orthopedic Surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, discussed clinical results of his patients to date. Dr. Katchis reflected, “I really like the Re+Line™ plate. The level of stability seems far superior to anything else I have used. While it remains for us to prove this via a cadaver study, I have seen all of my patients ambulating comfortably within the 1st week post op using nothing but a cane and a post op shoe.”
The new Re+Line™ system has obtained FDA clearance and CE mark certification is pending. The Re+Line™ Bunion Correction Plate will initially be supplied in three different sizes. Each plate size will be supplied in its own complete bunion surgery procedure kit which provides all of the necessary insertion instruments.
Nextremity Solutions® will be exhibiting the product at booth number 6921 at the AAOS from March 12-14 in New Orleans.
